Introduction
In addition to what I have said in the introduction video, I would like to point out an important opportunity to improve your fluency of tying through observation.
Watch and take note of how we use our fingers, which hand we use and how we move the rope. Far too many tutorials ignore this aspect but fluency and flow are very important. Shibari is a dance so movements should be fluid with any metaphorical stepping on toes, e.g. pinches, excessive friction. The process of untying is as important as how you tie, as it is all part of the experience, which is why we show this. Make an effort to actively analyse these aspects so that your tying with be effective, efficient and fluid.
